Experience a hands-on approach to learning with BTC s CNC Technician program. Developed using the National Institute of Metalworking Standards (NIMS) and National Tooling and Machining Association standards, you will receive a broad technical background in both job-shop and production machining. Plus, you ll spend your time learning in a practical setting at the new Advanced Manufacturing Training Center, a state-of-the-art facility that will give you a leg up in a field that is in need of skilled technicians. Using the CNC and CAM software and equipment, including a four-axis machining center, you will learn to select the proper tools and fixtures required to machine parts. Your training will make you proficient in metal machining operations and planning procedures, and you ll be able to demonstrate practical machining techniques in accordance with engineering drawing specifications.
